See Your Soaps While Pumping Your Gas
Motorists cringing at the cost of fuel can now at least fill up on current news and information while tethered to the pump.

Internet-enabled Gas Station TV formally launched its digital television network Monday featuring ABC programming and original content including local news, sports, weather and traffic. The network will air constantly updated content to refueling motorists on 20-inch high-definition LCD monitors embedded in gas dispensers.

GSTV already has conducted a test pilot in Dallas and expects to reach 100 locations of the Wal-Mart-based retail gasoline chain Murphy USA by September and 400 stations in the top 10 U.S. markets by next year.

"We're very focused on creating an enjoyable and informative experience for the average of four minutes the user spends at the pump with content that has a sense of purpose and that can help them," GSTV CEO David Leider said.

Imagine a future family road trip:

"Daddy, can we watch the Disney Channel at the next Gas Station?"

Maui, Orlando, Cancun Top 3 Timeshare Rental Spots
Cancun, Mexico, ranks among the top five vacation cities of timeshare renters, according to RedWeek, the leading online timeshare marketplace.

Cancun ranked third in best location to rent a timeshare, behind Orlando, Florida, which came in as number one, and Maui, Hawaii, which placed in second.

When asked for their most preferred vacation activity, survey participants overwhelmingly chose "fun in the sun and sand."

Not surprisingly, forty-three percent of respondents indicated that beaches were the most important factor in selecting a trip destination. Theme parks and nearby water activities tied for second at 14 percent, while golf ranked third at 5 percent.

With breathtaking beaches, world-class golf facilities and an unparalleled variety of attractions and water activities, including diving in the world's second largest reef, it is no surprise that Cancun maintains its holding as a top international destination.

In addition to its recovery efforts following the damages of Hurricane Wilma, Cancun has also built number of luxury timeshares with breathtaking views to the Caribbean Sea and the Chiputle Lagoon. These new additions only add to Cancun's splendor, giving visitors a variety of options in accommodations.

"These rankings come at a time when Cancun can show travelers that its newly renovated hotels, beaches and restaurants are better than ever," said Artemio Santos, executive director of the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau. "With beach restorations being completed, we feel confident that visitors' high expectations of our world-renowned destination will be met."

Did I get this Wrong! Megabucks Pays $20 Million
Blogging can be brutal. After posting a slightly sarcastic note about an unlikely Slot Machine payout earlier today - I just saw this release:

A 64-year-old Las Vegas retiree won a Megabucks® slot jackpot worth $20,519,025 today at the Cannery Casino & Hotel in North Las Vegas.

It was the second Megabucks® winner the Cannery has had in the last nine months. Elmer Sherwin won his second Megabucks® jackpot -- the only person ever to win it twice -- at the Cannery in September 2005.

The new Cannery winner requested anonymity, but said she had played only $12 in the machine -- four pulls of the slot handle -- when the jackpot hit.

Another Reason to Visit Vegas: Megabucks Payout
As though a Vegas lover needed another reason to go. Though the phrase "statistically overdue" is a little optimistic:

Nevada Megabucks(R) has reached two impressive milestones. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary as the progressive system that's produced the world's largest slot jackpots, Nevada Megabucks(R) has just surpassed the $20 million mark.

The current jackpot of $20.2 million makes it the 7th largest slot jackpot ever. In under two weeks, the MegaJackpot(R) progressive has added over $1 million to its top prize due to the volume of players hoping to become the next Megabucks(R) multi-millionaire.

A $3 maximum bet is required to win the Megabucks(R) progressive prize. More than 600 Megabucks(R) games in 164 casinos throughout Nevada provide players with plenty of chances to select a lucky machine.

The last Megabucks(R) winner, at the Aladdin Resort & Casino in LasVegas, won $11.9 million on October 16, 2005. Since then, the jackpot hasbeen building from a reset amount of $10 million and is now statistically overdue to be won.

Video Megabucks(R), a recent addition to the MegaJackpots(R) family, is also statistically overdue. With a jackpot of over $14.6 million, VideoMegabucks(R) will set a world record for the largest penny jackpot of alltime. It was introduced in spring 2005, and a maximum bet of 300 coins isrequired to win the top progressive jackpot.

All IGT MegaJackpots(R) top awards are paid in annual installments upon verification, except MegaJackpots Instant Winners Jackpots(R) and RapidRiches MegaJackpots(R) awards, which are paid in their entirety upon verification. All jackpot amounts reported reflect totals as of noon June 2, 2006. For more information on MegaJackpots(R) locations, themes and current jackpot amounts, visit http://www.megajackpots.com.
